Chef LauraChef Laura first developed Laura’s Gourmet Granola as a happy accident in her home kitchen, not long after completing culinary school in late 2002.  Her intention was to make granola for her family, so she kept revising her recipe, driven by the desire to reduce the amount of fat and sugar normally found in classic granola.  Without compromising flavor in this quest, Vanilla Almond Crunch was born  – a perfect blend of whole oats, local honey, blanched slivered almonds and the highest quality pure vanilla extract.  Before she knew it, friends, neighbors and clients of her private fine dining/catering company began asking for Vanilla Almond Crunch, and at the suggestion of her best friend, she took it to market.

Beginning in 2004, Laura’s Gourmet Granola, Vanilla Almond Crunch, became available for savvy consumers looking to up their granola game.  Soon after, additional flavors joined the Laura’s Gourmet family, offering a flavor profile for every palate, pleasing mouths from 2 to 102.

Just like the beginning, Laura’s Gourmet Granola remains handcrafted whether for retail or foodservice – an artisan product worthy of upscale resorts, universities, healthcare facilities and restaurants, from Florida to Alaska, Texas to Wisconsin (and lots of other states – too many to count!).   Available in seven mouthwatering flavors, using only the highest quality ingredients, Laura’s Gourmet Granola proves delectable AND good for you exist in one perfect mouthful, every time.
